Current Projects
Reimagining Philanthropy
Developing intentional and justice centered rapid relief funding strategies
In true partnership with Population Works Africa we will work with you to develop your rapid relief funding strategy to intentionally and sustainably give to community organizers, movement leaders, and social justice organizations on the frontlines. These giving strategies will be buttressed by a safe space where you self reflect on how giving has positively and negatively impacted social justice movement in the past and present. This learning/giving journey can be started anytime, and runs for 1-2 months depending on the size of your gift.
Solidarity Centered Giving
Developing giving strategies informed by antiracism and social movements
In partnership with Population Works Africa we draw upon anti-racist and inclusive grantmaking models to effectively support redevelopment of your grant funding strategy to intentionally and sustainably give to community organizers, movement leaders, and social justice organizations. This 1-2 month process can be started at any time.
Solidarity Centered Request for Proposal (RFP) Process
A solidarity lens could include an inclusive, supportive and equitable RFP process
In partnership with Population Works Africa we will collaborate with you to develop a solidarity Request for Proposal process. Such an RFP approach could help your Foundation address barriers to entry which have kept non-traditional grantees from participation. This 6-8 month process can be started at anytime.
